When a base word ends with a vowel team and a consonant suffix is added, the base word stays the same. The vowel team already shows the vowel sound clearly, so nothing needs to change at the end of the word.

This uses the Leave: Suffix Ending, which means leave the base word alone and simply add the consonant suffix.

Read the base word first, then add the suffix and blend the whole word smoothly until it sounds natural.
