There are four taught sounds for vowel team OU.  Vowel team OU can also say a long /ō/ sound. However, when followed by consonant L, it most commonly says /ōL/as in poultry. You will practice the Sounds and Spellings Of vowel team OU using the four vowel sounds.

However, when you are asked to practice the Spellings Of /ōL/ you will now include OUL.
