Many closed, one-syllable words end with twin consonants.

We use the phrase Zz FLoSS to remind us that the most common and predictable are FF, LL, SS, and ZZ.

Multi-syllable words ending with twin consonants are less predictable, so we only use Zz FLoSS with one-syllable words.
